Following his transition from J.P. Morgan to the nonprofit sector, he brings a unique blend of finance, innovation, and humanitarian leadership to advance lifesaving medical care worldwide.
Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) is one of the largest and most influential humanitarian organizations in the world, delivering emergency medical care in more than 75 countries—from conflict zones to global crises.

Richard A. Higgs is the Founder of Dorado Cares and has built a distinguished career combining business success with social impact. He held senior positions in global financial markets and acquired a patent that led to PVA pods used by brands such as Procter & Gamble. He founded manufacturing operations in the United States and led business initiatives in Puerto Rico, including Great Bay Global Fund and HAS Global Ventures.
As the founder of Dorado Cares, he drives programs in aid, infrastructure, and child welfare, leaving a lasting impact on the community.
