A Conversation with On Point Strategy

We spoke with them about their work, the challenges facing the nonprofit sector on the island, and what brought them to the Puerto Rico Nonprofit Summit.

What does generating impact mean to you, and how do you measure it?

Impact is watching an organization move from uncertainty to control. It's when they have clear processes, visible data, and teams equipped to make decisions. We measure it in capacities that stay in place, solid compliance, and sustainable, visible results.

What do you see as the most urgent challenge facing our communities today?

There's a gap between receiving funds and being able to manage them with confidence. Without clear processes, the right tools, or data visibility, the path becomes complex. Closing that gap is key to making sure impact doesn't get lost in execution.

Looking ahead, how would you like to see the nonprofit sector in Puerto Rico evolve?

We envision a stronger, better-prepared sector where organizations integrate technology, data, and best practices into their daily operations. A sector that operates with intention, compliance, and the capacity to adapt to the challenges our communities face.

Why do you consider spaces like the Puerto Rico Nonprofit Summit important?

Because they create real connections. They're spaces where tools, experiences, and learnings are shared in ways that strengthen the entire sector. That's where trust is built and collective solutions emerge.

How can organizations make better use of the resources, tools, or knowledge you offer?

By starting with an understanding of their own processes and needs. From there, they can lean on technical assistance, training, and tools like dashboards to gain visibility, strengthen compliance, and make more informed decisions. We also explore the use of AI tools to make everything more efficient, from grant searches to decision-making.
